Hiya. I have also been looking into headlight restoration on my mk5. Has anyone tryed to relacquer them? I've tryed the Meguiar's restoration kit, which worked a treat in the short term but sadly after a few months there are back to worse than they were.
Also I have now got myself access to a garage so wanted to give the car a good detail with a DA/Random orbital polisher. Can anyone give me any info about what machine to go for and also pad choice and stuff.
