RNS-510 V13 available online

Just to inform that the 2016 maps version (V13) is now available on the usual forums.

When I get home I'll start downloading it.

Got my V12 maps disc off eBay for about a tenner, easier option for the less computer literate amongst us!

I've downloaded the maps. Just need to burn and test them.

For speed cameras you have 2 options:
-You get a modified version of the maps that already have them included;
-You get a POI file for the RNS-510 with speed cameras that you can add as a personal POI file. I use POInspect0r to make my own POI file with my country's speed cameras.

I have downloaded the maps and burned them to a DVD+R DL. I'll test it tomorrow, just not sure if I'll use the car long enough for the copying process to complete.

This morning the RNS-510 P of my GT Sport started copying the maps. Took a bit longer than expected to show the box asking if I wanted to install the maps or just use them from the DVD.

There's a topic about the maps. Just download the West (Europe) version.

It's just you Rich and others that aren't comfortable messing with the radio. I have no issues updating my radios and I've done it with my A, B, P and R.

The maps aren't a threat to the radio, the worst it can happen is you needing to have the DVD inside the radio or copy the previous version again.
