Very nice
My dad has a facelift octavia.
I got him go to Alex's and put all the super pro bits on it.
Can't help thinking yours needs 18 inch wheels but it's what you like ultimately.
nice and cheap

Turbobell:
Pollybushed the entire underside of the car front and rear. ECP got me the bushes for a considerable amount less than they are available on eBay.

This is not by any shot, a nice job...... Very heavy work and extremely time consuming. With most bushes seized solid and having to be cut and chiseled out.

Obviously after refitting the subframes, the wheels were pointing at all angles! So.....

Front camber is showing -1.5 on both sides
Rear camber set to -2.0 as the cars use will now be solely for fast road/ track...

So what difference do they make,

Well the car feels more stable in higher speed corners, and much more composed over uneven surfaces which I didn't expect!
I think the mk5 platform can feel particularly floaty/jiggly when pushed at speed, the change in bushes really has made a vast improvement, making the car feel far lighter than it is.

It's a modification I would certainly recommend, but only if you intend to keep the car for a considerable time, to justify the cost and effort, neither of which being small.

Had a great time at the ring. Killed the stock exhaust, so fitted a miltek turbo back non res. nqsbbk performed incredibly! And all other mods like bushes etc no doubt made the job of attacking the green hell far easier. Car has been sent to the body shop for some work on the arches for clearance, and some front bumper mods.

Always wondered what a mk2 Vrs would look like with full aero, so I'm going to find out......

So, had a good weekend with the car having not had it with me for near a month.

While in the bodyshop, aside from the obvious modifications, the car has had a lot of material removed from inside of the arches and the strut tower caps cut off to allow for adjustment of the coilovers that are on route.

Car is driving well and performed faultlessly at curborough today,  if a little underdamped. Over the coming weeks a lot is planned to be changed to shift the focus totally towards track use.

Modified scuttle and strut towers coming into their own now the new coilovers are on. Car is close to how i want it chassis wise, collected my new seats, and sizing up a few other bits to finish the interior.... Or lack of.

Carbon fixed seats. Takata 4 point harnesses. Custom seat subframes. New whiteline 24mm front roll bar arrived today, chassis is near completion!

Had the front subframe off today to swap the front roll bar, only to realise whiteline have sent the wrong one!
