Epic.... I will be reading this start to finish when I've got the ipad out.
Few questions for you bud, theres a guy selling a southbend flywheel on here that I'm going to purchase, any positive feedback on them? And what clutch would you recommend?
Do you have the front and rear hubs from a TT? Are the bushes the same as the OE octavia items in location and size? Hoping to just swap my polybushes into the new hubs. Obviously the front isn't bushed on the hub.

I don't have anything positive to say about Southbend clutches. I've removed three in the past year that were causing problems and replaced with Helix. What power do you aim to run and will you be launching?
To do the front TT hubs you also need the wishbones, ball joints, driveshafts, steering rack.
Rears are a pain too. They bolt straight up but you need around £100's worth of new nuts, bolts and washers. Will give 12mm preside of extra track at the rear.

Think s3 hubs and control arms will do then. Majority of the unsprung weight is there.
Rear hubs will still probably be something i will do though.
Will be running around 350-400bhp and similar torque. Do you know of a clutch thats compatible with their flywheels?
Cheers mate,
Dale

I think only SB stuff fits. The 'Silent' single mass isn't silent at all. I'm fairly sure that SB got their measurements wrong as the main reason for me removing the kits was dragging and not being able to change gears.
All you need is the Helix organic clutch for a dual mass flywheel. We run them over 400lbft fine. If you want something that will help the engine rev then go for the lightweight flywheel kit.
