Thank you R-Tech - Another happy customer!
« on: November 04, 2015, 02:52:18 pm »
(I don't tend to post too much on here, I just read guides)

After reading so many positive reviews about R-Tech I decided to get a stage 1 remap. Mine is a 2008 GTI Mk5, only performance mod was a pipercross panel filter. The team were all very helpful and knowledgable, and the results were better than I ever thought possible. Thank you so much to all at R-Tech, the car feels so different and so much more fun to drive, I would recommend stage 1 to everyone! Also the switchable maps are useful if for some reason you dont want full power :)

HP: 195.5 to 251.5
Torque (ft/lb): 235 to 302
Torque (nm): 318 to 409

Nice curves! Stage 1 R-Tech here too. Bet you're loving it.

Powervalve turboback and uprated fuel pump next up for me then another trip to Hinckley to fatten up the torque ;-)

That's a huge increase chap - enjoy it. It feels like a totally different car right?

I couldn't stop myself and have just gone stage 2. If you think stage 1 is fun, wait til you try stage 2......

What mods do you have with stage 2? What sort of figures did you get?

And I can vouch for that......that exhaust system is out of this world, truly amazing!

I honestly believe no other mods are needed. This is more than enough for the GTI. The torque levels are truly phenomenal.

I know people upgrade the suspension and the brakes etc. but I believe the standard set-up is spot on and works just fine. Why change something that doesn't need fixing?
