There's a bit of a mini-meet next Saturday if you guys are interested. Around midday.

There a lot of avg speed cameras on the 614 between Clumber and Nottingham?

Where abouts you from? I'm usually in Warmsworth visiting my family and Rotherham visiting hers...

There's nothing to worry about between the Ollerton roundabout and Clumber on the 614, as far as fixed cameras go. Although I did pass a suspicious Octy VRS estate sat in the lay by on that stretch with the new traffic lights a week ago..

Further south, I think there are those lovely blue and yellow things unfortunately.

I'm 10 mins off the roundabout that joins the 614 with the A1.

As it happens, if you head east off the Thoresby roundabout on the 614, towards Retford, you'll find what appears to be the remnants of a Roman Road.  Good for vmax and brake testing. Apparently.

I used to love the 614 from Nottingham all the way to the A1 - lovely wide road and nice overtakes. Unfortunately it is littered with average speed cameras now and I've been caught near the Nottingham side sadly (luckily didn't get points).

I used to hammer my 205 GTI up and down those roads back in the late 90's when I was in my teens
