« on: November 16, 2015, 07:56:08 pm »
Hi Guys

This is my first post on the forum, after many hours of reading!!

I was just wondering if anyone has bought one of these bumpers? if so, how did it fit?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-R32-REAR-BUMPER-REAR-VALANCE-MK5-GTI-TDI-GT-R32-FSI-NEW-BEST-QUALITY-/181724729550?hash=item2a4fa350ce:g:zW8AAOxycD9TSuGf

any help appreciated, Cheers

Apart from the fact that the two cars are actually completely different cars (despite the seller saying it's the same car converted), looks OK. Personally, I'd always opt for genuine parts as there's often an R32 bumper for sale on here that will just need a respray and being a genuine item will both fit better and be easier to sell on.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Personally, unless you actually work in a body shop. "Replica" parts are always a ball ache and never fit flush straight out of the packet.

For the price of used genuine items + body work (unless it comes in your colour which sometimes happens) you may as well get genuine.
