My car was looked at tonight by Alan (DJ Horace) and he has posted the following findings, hopefully someone can shed some light on the fact than the map is not asking for full boost until well over 4000rpm. The car has the bluefin map.
I had a look at this car tonight and VAGCOM showed no faults other than the following

As this has nowt to do with the symptoms mentioned above, we went for a wee blast and did a couple of log runs.
From what I can see, the car is doing everything that is being asked of it. The boost does not seem to increase at any great rate until after 4000rpm as can be seen below;

Knowing how boost comes in on a Revo and GIAC car, this does not seem normal. As you can see the requested and actual boost are fairly well matched, and the requested boost is not going past 1 Bar until after 4000rpm. There is no shortage of fuel either.
Is it normal for a Bluefin map to only ask for boost after 4000 rpm? If so, it seems a little strange to me given that the spool point is way before this in the rev range.
