Manual clocks in DSG

Would my manual midline gti clocks work fine in a DSG and show the gear selection.

Ok cool. Another question. I have installed highline gti clocks and I see clocks have a settings display? I don't seem to have that?

No. I normally press up and down to scroll through the mpg, distance travelled etc etc. so if I hold it down it will bring up a setup menu?
