Downpipe for ed30 dsg
« on: November 21, 2015, 10:13:08 pm »
Hey guys!

Just collecting parts to be installed for my remap session in 2 weeks. I was wondering will this fit my car?

eBay item number: 151254118781

It's going to be hopefully bolted to a 2.75 exhaust system.

Kind regards

I won an exhaust cat back from them for £136.00 off ebay but
Quality wasn't very good so I sent it back.
I was going to buy the dp and cat off them to add to the rrst of the system but changed my mind all together.

Lol someone told me in another thread of mine to buy a 'direnza' one specifically which is why I was looking at them only. There's one for £100 ish from a company called turborevs.

Just for reference purposes, the one mentioned above in that style will fit my car right?

Yes it will fit fine. Make sure you get an OEM gasket

I just got wee'd off as the car wheel spins and thought jack it. I'm not modding the car  :sad1:

I should have just fitted it as it had 3" tips

It actually looks nice lol. Why on earth did you get rid??

Wheel spin is expected with big power and 2wd ;) lol. I'm actually getting slight spin on my ed30 on a standard map. I can't dread to think what it will be like from stock to stage 2+

it was nice too lol

It's because I made a stupid move and should have kept it at £136 delivered  :ashamed: £250 new from 2fast2cool.
Yeah I'm used to 4wd and forgot how the fwd lacks grip when taking off.
May try bidding again lol but I don't know how long I wanna keep the golf.

Stage 2 would require the LSD imho but it's way too expensive  :scared:

BigA91 why don't you bid on this 351583543876

I don't know dude, I never fitted it as my carpal tunnel operation prevented me from fitting it.
I wish I'd had kept it though gutted  :sad1:

If you don't get a decent price on that one then try thr other one in the seller's other items for sale

If I decide I want to mod again. I'll be going for the full system and k04.

How long did shipping take from '2fast2cool'?

Their exhaust system went for £20 less than the buy it now LOL. I'd rather just click buy it now

Lol, I was watching that. Thats the most ive seen them go for, most go between £120 and £170. They were listing a couple a week but have slowed a bit. Keep watching out,
I managed to pick one up for £113 thanks to the 20% code ebay did a few weeks back.
Cant complain at that price, the slash cut pipes are a bit different than the norm too.

BA, shipping doesn't take more than 3 days parcel force.
I was watching that exhaust lol I dis get a bargain and handed it right back  :stupid:

The system looks  way better than out oem ones and that is the most priciest I've seem them go for.

"Beware" they send damaged ones too.

The reason I ask you buddy, is because some sellers are known to take the mick shipping stuff out and I don't have time to waste. I think they've probably used mates to shoot the bids up lol as I can't see why it would go for that much when the buy it now is not far away. Well looks like I shall be inspecting before signing off. Thanks for the heads up  :happy2:

They've probs got a few mates to shoot their bids up as I can't see why the bids would reach that much when the buy it now was about £20ish quid away and its free p&p. Something deffo not right lol. Yeah the reason why I want that particular exhaust is because of the slash cut tail pipe design.

I think I'm going to click 'buy it now'. The auction was the only thing holding me back from clicking 'buy it now'

I can understand your worries. I hate late arrivals. Yes I'm wondering if they get friends to bump it up as I wouldn't want to pay more than 150 delivered which is why I must have been lucky to get it for a good price.

All the best  :happy2:
