That's bad dude, one thing is that you should try not to use abusive language although I know your furious as to what they've done.

When the manager asked you for the keys?, why did you refuse him. I was thinking he's ready to rectify the fault?.
Sorry I don't know the full story but that's what I initially thought.

If all else failed then you could have just mentioned trading standards will be in touch and left it at that. Usually this gets people like these di*** worried.

I've explained above buddy. The car was taken into Allumy Motorsport in notts as I wrote the issue on the TFSI tuning Facebook group page and the director offered me a deal I couldn't turn down as the car was not drivable. I'm lucky I did because lion garage wanted £55ph + vat to have a look. Like I've explained, they weren't acknowledging their mistake! They kept saying it's been installed right when clearly on the previous page it shows otherwise! He tossed the paper in my face that explained why the autotech internals have failed and what was the cause. It was all documented and signed by both Allumy Motorsport and TSR. Now you tell me, what would you have done? I asked for a refund or atleast part payment for the autotech internals and said 'rubbish'.
I just assumed they were willing to do something about it.

Right, now you just need trading to deal. other this.

Did you pay with a credit card by any chance?. You can ask your credit card company to get a charge back but you obviously need to show proof of what's happened.

VW specialists sound like a bunch of tos**** from what your saying.

I only know of one who is recommended by many amd they are Midland VW and the guys off the tt forum swear by these guys although I don't take my car to anyone  unless it's a mega big job ie dealers only.

Debit card buddy. does the same rule or principle still apply? I'd love to get my money back
Credit card is more full proof but you can try it with your debit card and as you have a second opinion from an independent garage will help you further.

You sound like a really nice guy  :signLOL: especially when swearing lol

Serious note I would try and keep calm as they've got your money and you want it back.

Call your bank up.

You're a star lol. I need a best friend like you  :signLOL:. I rang up Lloyds and they're going to call me back tomorrow or Monday. They've taken the basic details and have confirmed, if I can show sucifficient evidence, VISA will refund me.
