Tyre thread

Guys what tyres are you running?

On my previous car (Astra VXR), I was running Vredestein Ultrac ssentas. My fronts are almost near 2.0mm and I'd like to have them changed soon. I was looking at Hankook V12s and Vredestein Ultrac Vorti, but I'd like to hear what some of you guys are running?

Running the winters atm (Nokian WR A3, great tyre).... summers are still on the Eagle F1 AS2's because they are cheap enough and grip well imo.

I have the Goodyear eagle F1's on 17's so road noise is fine in my opinion but I'm young so the music is up to cover any noise that tyres make :roll eye:

Their great tyres grip wise and cost too but I have also driven the same car with 18's on opposed to 17's but with the Michelin PS3's and can honestly say they're worth the extra few quid in my opinion.. Not sure what they'll be like in the upcoming weather though but for wet / dry weather, they're great. Snow and ice is something I have yet to try.

They are a performance tyre, so dry grip an handling is priority. Road noise isnt too bad, maybe just a fraction louder than Goodyear F1
