New member mk6 Gti looking at getting mk7

Hi GTI ers. I have been looking at this forum for some time, but just registered today. I currently have a 2009 mk6, Tornado red, manual GTI, 53000 miles. I am toying with the idea of selling up and getting a mk7 Gti
I will get a few posts in here and then put it up on the forum with some nice pics.
Has anyone done the same and what do they think of the mk7 GTI?
