1st R hiccup tonight....
« on: December 06, 2015, 12:42:30 am »
Morning everyone,

My 2010 6R started making a strange noise tonight and shortly after my engine management light came on. After tip toeing the girl back home. I did a little inspection and found that the PCV had failed.

Ive read stuff on catch cans and up rated versions. But if im honest, my knowledge is limited. Can anyone recommend a particular set up and how much is it compared to standard? Is worth the extra money ney and is it of any more benefit that the OEM versions.

Thanks in advance

My recommendation is to use the latest revision PCV from VW. They are proven to work even on the mental 500hp Hurdy golf R
