I am new to the forum so I hope that I am writing this in the right section =)
So the problem is that I've tried updating my RNS 510 on my passat CC '08.

SW-Version 0900
I've tried updating it to firmwire 5238 due to the use of new maps. I've burned it at my lowest possible speed (10x), used verbatim CD-R and Nero. When the updating comes to 37% (APPL 100%) the system freezes. I've left it for about 2 hours and nothing happened. So I've restarted and ran the update again, sam thing at 37%. When I eject the CD and try to run the radio it just says that the system in not able to start up, please insert swl-cd.
Is there anything that can be done?

Update: I've inserted recovery CD, it worked, radio booted up. Media files were still on, radio worked, navigation shows that I am somewhere in germany???, the version says that the version was 9238??? Despite the fact that it got bricked at 37%. I've tried with another CD, awaiting the progress..
UPDATE 2: Success! Burned another CD, this time the process was successful!
