Hello & GTI For Sale soon!

Hi All,

Bit late to introduce myself now, having owned a Mk5 GTI for the past 4 years, but I thought I would take the opportunity to shamelessly plug the car I am about to sell.

It is a 2006 '55' plate, 3-door in Candy White.  I went for electric sunroof (mistake.....shouild have put the 18"s on it!) and cruise-control options plus it has had a bootliner in place from new.  The car has been garaged every night and is in absolutely mint condtion (always gets comments) with a full service history.  It is washed regularly (well, it is white) and gets Auto-Glymed at least 3 times / year.   It has just turned 80,000 miles and is going for its new cam belt and an MOT on Monday.

Not sure what to ask for it......looks like anything between £8000 - £9000, but it is exceptionally clean and way better than anything you will see at a dealer given it's age. Be glad for any advice around the pricing.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, let me know and I will email some pics.  The car won't be available until end of Jan as that is when my new Octavia vRS arrives (growing family etc!!!).

Thanks for the replies guys.  Wished I'd found this forum before and I might have been more tempted to a few mods.

Won't make the same mistake with my next ride .....and am already on the equally good Briskoda forum. Looking at a chip to give me an extra 40bhp and other tempting stuff.

Brisky name is TadleyvRS.  Gone for Octavia vRS estate 170 CR.  Couldn't resist another car in Candy White either!!!

Put leather heated seats and maxidot in it.  Waiting for a delivery date now.......guess I am looking at sometime in April from reading some of the sob stories on the Forum.  Can't wait!!
