I've tried the spacer and it doesn't work for very long and the eml keeps popping up here and there so I have a hand held diag tool on the car to delete this. lol

They should have the software or lying to you to charge you for it.

Tried with wire wool? Can i drive with the light on? Will have an other tuner reading my ecu map tomorrow and see what he sais.

No because I didn't want the wire wool to get sucked further back into the silencer and block it

It can stay off for long a journey and came on once in a blue but that was before the map as I modded the car with what I needed and then got it all mapped up.

Any ideas how to "cheat" the lambda sensor without mapped out?

The spacer is the next option as mentioned. You can try wrap a gauze or wire wool to fool the cat into thinking the cat is still there and preventing gases from triggering the sensors eml off so easily. It's a cheap mod so worth the pennies.

It depends on whether you are having the map tweaked for performance, or whether you simply want the Lambda fault patched out. Since you haven't named the tuner, I would hazard a guess that most will want between £50-100 for doing it, but you're at the mercy of your chosen tuner really.

If you go anywhere else they will want to sell you their own map, and not have anything to do with the one already on there
i got a reply from my tuner and he told me they need somekind of hex address to de-activate it and they don't have it on there custom map? Can i try to cheat the EML light with a spacer and bounch of wire wool stoffed inside the spacers end? and if the light comes on can i still drive with it normaly? mo defects?
Hes not lying, but it also proves he is not a tuner, but a simple file pusher using tools and software that any mug can buy and use. Seriously go somewhere else, i.e. a VAG specialist. R-Tech, Revo, APR etc.

Car will drive fine with the light on

Can i avoid the eml light with the wire wool or what should i be stuffing up there? And the spacer facing the front to the sensor in moved away from the flow?
