Mark M's MK5 GTi (Leather Retrim done)
« on: January 01, 2010, 09:40:07 am »
Thought I would start fresh and keep everything together...  :happy2:

When I first collected the car, not bad for a student :

Lowered on Eibach springs, painted the grille and stuck the plate on:

Gave it the odd coat of wax here and there haha:

FItted some 19" BBS CH's, R32 rear lights, Milltek exhaaast, Tints.

Really wish I had never changed it from this to be honest, but whatever...

Got some FK Coilovers and slammed it. Mercedes Cl500 wheels in Steel Grey:

Then it was turn of the Bentleys :D

It looked cool on these, but they were stupidly wide and heavy, also f*cked my front arches.

Sleazed about on them for a bit and got some attention, that was that.

Smoothed the front grille. carbon effect rear badge, dewipered, Sharan aerial, pressed plates.

Got some Parada's, rear spacers and got the stock wheels done satin black. MURDERED OOT.

After that went all sensible and got some BBS VZ033, red caps, FMIC, open grille vents.

FItted a DVD/Nav/Bluetooth unit:

All sleazed up with mirror polished Audi A8 Monoblocks.

Crappy picture of the interior, really does look subtle and factory in the flesh:

Still got the parcel shelf to get trimmed and the gear gatier :D
Gotta wait for some old dude to get back from his holidays for that though.

Set up at present:

Fat Five Audi wheels (to be refurbished)
FK452 215/40/18
FK Silverline Coilovers
Custom Code Remap
Carbonio Intake
FMIC
Milltek Non Resonated Cat Back
Smoothed Grille
Orange grille stripe/Badge
Orange Engine cover
Open Fog Vents
6000k HID
Black badges/carbon wrap.
Dewipered
Medium rear tints
Private plate & euro surround
DVD/Nav/iPod head unit
Sharan aerial
Jaffa Orange leather
Carbon 3M vinyl on steering wheel

Just recently picked up some Audi Fat Fives, got some new Falken 452's to match up. Also got a Jetta chrome grille, not sure if i'll rock that though.

In the post:

R32 rear lights on their way AGAIN
New Scirocco Steering wheel

Cheers folks :)

Can't work out how to multi quote on here lol.

Nathan, I have packaged the BBS centre cap for you, it will be in the post be recorded delivery on Tuesday.

I got the interior retrimmed by Transcal. I paid cost price for it as I did a couple of valets/details for a friend who sent the interior away through his business.

Think it would normally be £1500 excluding return postage. Then £50 for the extra cut of leather to do parcel shelf, £40 to get that done locally by some old duffer

Funded the car when I was a student as I lived at home, worked as a bar man/waiter, mowed lawns and did valeting/detailing :)

Now working for an oil company.

Unfortunately house ownership is killing the fund for the car, but still getting away with a few things lol.

Had a fair few sets of wheels, a couple of sets not pictured, as I never fitted them.

I always love the pics of your car.  :happy2:  Your photography skills are excellent.

I have also bought a spare grill to try out a similar colour mask on my candy, it looks the dogs against the black.  :happy2:
