Booked in for Stage 2+ mapping 29th Jan!
« on: December 16, 2015, 12:30:05 pm »
As above, im booked in with R-Tech on the 29th Jan for Stage 2+ Mapping with hardcut limiter on my Edition 30.

I will be coming from a Stage 1 Revo Map which IMO just doesnt cut it for me. (Previous owner had the REVO map uploaded by Bill at Badger 5 before I bought the car in 2014)

There are a few mods which are not on the car yet, but they are eagerly awaiting in my garage to be fitted by Dynodaze on the 7th & 8th Jan

Anyway, I cannot wait!  Here is is my current setup.

ITG Induction Kit
APR HPFP
RS4 FPRV (To be fitted by Dynodaze)
S3 Alloy Intercooler (This will be changed post mapping)
Ebay Decat Downpipe (To be fabricated to my BCS System by Dynodaze)
BCS Cat-back Sports System
Helix Clutch and LUK DMF (Also to be fitted by Dynodaze)
Inlet was off 13k ago and valves were cleaned.

Does anyone have a similar setup to myself? Im keen to see what other people have made powerwise with a setup more or less the same as mine  :driver:

Should make good power mate!
How much is the Apr hpfp to buy?
I'm stage 2 with r tech. Same exhaust setup as yourself and an evoms intake. Toying with the idea of fitting a hpfp, intercooler and rs4 valve and going for more powa!

Contact TSR Performance or LOBA directly, they're selling the pumps much cheaper at the moment (475 £ (VAT included) + shipping).

^^^^ This.

APR charges way too much for their pump, get a LOBA.

Yeah as mentioned above the APR HPFP is a big sum of money. On their website it is £802.80 inc VAT for a brand new pump! Or around £500.00 to send your current pump in and to be rebuilt.

I managed to get mine for £420 IIRC on the Facebook TFSI Tuning page (Second hand ofcourse)

But yeah TSR have great deals on the LOBA pumps and Autotech internals at the minute :happy2:

Ill be really happy if i get 360 bhp and 370+ ft lb torque.

@Mitch H have you got their hardcut limiter?

Desperately need to get mine booked in. I have a track day 2nd week of Feb.

All my stage 2+ mods are now fitted (except my FMIC) and I'll be getting my clutch also installed by Dynodaze prior to mapping.

I'm running same sort of spec but my Eddy has Revo.
Recent power recorded was 364bhp and 387lbs ft
It's bloody quick.
You will be shocked
Mine  be up for sale soon due to my wife having our first child.

Best off giving R-Tech a call ASAP with how busy they tend to be, it would be a shame to not be able to do the track day without Stage 2+. Especially with all the hard work you've put in recently on your build thread. Hope you got your misfire sorted :happy2:

What dyno was it recorded on? Hopefully mine will pull similar figures, but each car is different so we will see  :driver:

So, all went well today.

Car made 355bhp & 393ftlb. BHP is limited due to the S3 cooler paired with stock throttle body pipe & turbo discharge pipe reducing the flow.

I will post the graph up shortly but it's far more superior! It just keeps pulling all the way up to the redline! If I said I'm happy with the map, then that would be an understatement :driver:

I'm saving up for stage 2+!
Looking at 475 for a loba
Rs4 pressure valve 40
Intercooler is where I'm unsure what to spend. As everyone was saying cheap welly cooler works well which is what got me excited when I could see I could afford 2+
Then did abit of digging and been told once I've payed for all pipe work to be made up its 500-550 which is nearly peron money and take me over a grand so I'm abit on the fence ATM

My brother will be taking his ed30 for stage 1 map at r tech in a few month which is what is really tempting me as I can come along for the ride haga

Niki at R-tech really rates the wellycoolers but there is quite a bit of DIY to be done which im sure you know. As you said for pipework to be made nicely you're looking at peron money which is a direct bolt on. IMO i would go for a direct bolt on intercooler to save the DIY and chopping the crash bar etc but each to their own.

Im sure i follow you on instagram! Your ed30 really looks the part :happy2:
