It's called a front panel but for some reason my work call it a lock carrier so I was giving you both names so you can search under either name lol. Yes it is all 1 piece and you can't bolt that bit in. The part number I put earlier choppy and paste that into Google and look at images for a better pic of it not bolted to a car. Yeah still get a couple of pics as I might be able to see if anything else is missing.(can be harder looking at pics though lol)

EDIT- Even on parts link it's called a lock carrier

One more question is Thai front panel also part of the pieces I have missing under the headlights? Or they separate?

I can't be 100% sure on that as there is a piece under each headlight which is apart of the front panel but then you need a bumper bracket under the lights which bolt into them. Ahhhh I hope I'm not confusing you now

Should hopefully get a pic today as local VW specialist said they will put on ramp and remove bumper for me so I can see what's missing and get a pic etc.

Right. Just been to my VW specialist garage. They didn't take bumper off as didn't have time so no pics. But they spotted the grill is non oem. I didn't notice that. Parts of the slam panel had been cut away. The air con condenser is all bent inwards. Assume rad may also bent as sits behind but can't say until removed. Looks as though the part I am missing was bent inwards into the rads and it was easier to cut off than to repair. Which also explains the non gen grille.

Where is the intercoolers on these cars. Where the damage is just wondering if that could be damaged??

So am on the look out for a rad, air con rad and slam/front panel and poss a gen gti grille

right - to get the bumper off you need to....

unscrew all the screws underneath the wheel arches and on the undertray.
unscrew and unclip the front grille.
once grille is removed you have a further 2 screws to remove that sits just above the slam panel iirc.
I would recommend you disconnect the fog lights prior to removal.
