Coolant hose
« on: December 29, 2015, 07:00:05 pm »
Evening all, doing usual checks on my car today and noticed my coolant level was lower than usual. So had a look around and noticed one of the hoses that runs behind the radiator fans on the passengers side has rubbed through and is leaking slightly. I'm going to try get the hose tomorrow from local dealer or tps just thought I'd try and see if anyone has the p/n in advance and if there is a solution to prevent te rubbing.

Circled is where the hose has rubbed ant the hose I need the p/n for

It comes from this t-piece at the top radiator hose passengers side also

Thanks and hope you all had a good Xmas

Just make sure the ED30 does not have different pipes.

Go here

http://www.partscats.info/volkswagen/en/?i=cat_vag_models&brand=vw&number=1714&set=1731&ein=2008&f=625&hauptgr=1234567890

Select your year.

1. Engine, Clutch

Then find cooling system with your engine code.

Cheers for your help mate hose has been ordered from tps today. It's the hose that goes to the secondary water pump. Not sure how it's been catching the fan though
