Did these also come with the oval fitting? If not can the circle fittings be replaced with the oval ones from some old mats?

Hey dazza, what do you mean with oval fitting? I just checked them. The fronts have indeed 2 clips wich can be removed. But I have round clips in my car. Is there a difference in them??
