Sucked the old brake fluid out and filled it up with new fluid.
Bled the whole system and brake pedal feels nice and hard👍🏻

Tomorrow it’s suspension setup😅…

Very nice!
I remember installing the B16 and how surprised I was with the performance and the lack of comfort.
You might need a larger brake master cylinder for those brakes to work properly.

SI is from Sibenik?

😁 Yes indeed Šibenik🇭🇷😍
I took it back to Belgium with me last November because the Tune of the DSG was gone banana’s  :jumpmove:😅 A good friend of mine solved it thankfully👍🏻
The last 2 weeks I finally got some time for the Edition 30😅
Today I also got the B16’s set up to my taste😇…. and yes the ride is a bit stiffer,
Performance wil be tested this weekend when I drive back to Betina🇭🇷.
Brakes are run in👊🏻 and you are again right😅 the pedal travel is slightly more than before…. Testing it out this weekend over a 1600km trip back home and If needed I’ll
put a larger master cylinder👍🏻 :happy2:
After this weekend I’ll also share my toughts with pic’s over the Z18 mounted on the aluminium hubs… that was an unexpected surprise 😅 see here…

Thank you for sharing all the updates during your GTI ownership. Due to the years those cars have a lot of work to be done also there are plenty of mods to upgrade them so you can have a list that would never end. Now that the major job is done at least for me I don't see the moment to sell it... I guess I should not be that sentimental with the car haha and just upgrade it for a MK7-7.5 GTI.

You have a track car right?

Hi Mekaniko, that’s what this great forum is all about!❤️
The love & passion for V-dubs🥰 and yes they are a handfull sometimes 😅 but as you’ve mentioned there are plenty of mods & upgrades for them.
Mine has its own hickups 😅 it doesn’t like to be left alone in the garage for a long time!!😅 the battery of the keyfob dies and its safety ignition start kicks in🙄, so when you start the car it immedately cuts off🫣😅 stuff like that… but once it’s alive… what a joy!🥰😍❤️ Specialy now when the whole suspension is done! The Autobahn was a test for everything! Wheels, brakes, suspension…
AND ofcourse the last 20km after leaving the highway. The twisty roads up and down the hills here were a joy with the B16😍 The 1600km trip was a succesful stress test👊🏻😎
You guys in the UK have similar roads👍🏻 ENJOY your ride in stock or modified❤️
As for the mk7… it’s abolutely a great chassis👍🏻 Had the oportunity to drive the “R” for a couple of weeks🫣😎❤️ GREAT car!👊🏻 Chassis & engine!! Even in stock version👍🏻
Hehehe No I don’t have a track car! I had my Caddy 😍 before, that was my track car experiance! If I have time this Year, I might do a trackday in Belgium or Croatia👍🏻
