Not much of a write up but here you go
Tools required are as follows.
T25 torx
Pozzy drive screw driver for the two boot lid cover screws.
10mm socket and 1/4 drive rachet for removimg the inner lights and right hand side trim nut at the top under the roof trim which simply clips off.
Soldering iron and solder.
Heat shrink or insulation tape.
Side cutters.
Metal wire hanger to feed wire though the rubber grommet.
Maintenance spray / WD40 to allow wires to run smoothly though the rubber grommet
Firstly clear the boot and junk in my case.
Remove the boot floor mat and right hand side cloth trim, parcel shelf trim held by two T25 torx screw and pull on the panel as it will have three retaining clips holding it down. Remove upper roof lining trim.
Remove to two screws from the boot lid under the handles and pull hard on the trim to take it off.
I then ran the wires through the rubber grommet in the boot lid and down the post with the other wiring to the light in the driver's side and then along the bottom of the boot to the left hand side light for that light.
Wires were taped up around boot wiring securely so it looks neat and tidy. I chose blue for + positive and white for - negative as it looked nicer and easily recongnised lol
Most of my wiring was wrapped up with black insulation tape and only visible at the ends and near the lights and under the boot lid cover.
Earth point located and fitted on with a 10mm bolt. should have had the proper connectors but sadly left them at work in the tool box.
Wiring the + positive from light to connector socket on rear of the light is black and purple for the right hand side.
Black and red for the left hand side. both are on pin no 3 FYI.
I added two further lengths of wires but guess what?, they aren't needed as inner lights work as brakes without having to wire extra ones as was told by someone from another forum.
