Did you mod your TT like this as well?

Ah I see - I thought all this time it was a non runner still as you were putting pics of random parts didn't think it was all on the car now  :happy2:
what I do is gather the parts and when I have the time/weather is good and my hand and arm aren't aching so bad I do what I can. Car is never off road as it's not possible where I live.

Unlucky with the bolt, I recently had the same with one of the anti roll bar bracket bolts. What is your jack supporting in the first pic?

Only with a vag mate

It was supporting the gearbox up as the front wishbone bolt doesn't have full clearance.

So you couldn't get the passenger side wishbone out without lifting the gearbox slightly? Did you loosen any of the mounts before jacking it up or just kept them as they were and raised it slightly?

Gearbox bolts x4 out to get clearance as I did try to do it without taking th bolts out but the box wouldn't raise high enough to get the bolt out as it's a very long bolt too

Strange, I haven't seen anyone need to raise the gearbox to remove the wishbone unless im missing something. Thought it was just three ball joint bolts, front bush bolt, then the three rear bushing bolts to drop the rear bush console and the whole thing will just drop down

Unless I was doing something wrong the bolts too long to come out for the front wishbone bush and definitely won't clear the gearbox as that didn't lift high enough when I jacked it up. Mine is dsg so could be because it's a longer box

Much work on the puddle lights?

Just replaced a full wing mirror yesterday and figured I nearly should have done the puddle light mod while I was at it.
