If anyone requires cheap but quality MDF speaker spacers, I recommend this company on eBay who are efficient and make any spacers to spec for you. :happy2:

Test fitted my pioneer sub and just about got it right with the spacers and dimensions as the magnet only just touches the window regulator  :surprised:

Right up close to a van as parking is shi** in London and some cu*** bound to side swipe me even after leaving gaps both front and rear

Led headlight bulbs, tell me more. Is this an H7 bulb ?
I had looked at this before as a big fan of leds but reckoned that you couldnt fit leds in the headlights due to the weird 1/4 turn connectors

Hi @theminty1 yes H7 fan cooled led bulbs. I've always wanted to try these but didn't want to spend the full £80 they were when they first came about and not knowing if they would fit the golf lights but after fitting them in the Porsche I knew they were perfect and back cover would fit back on I had to buy a pair.

Down side!! a little fiddly to fit the bulb retaining clips back in as those big A** fans get in the way but being a tad hand at fiddly things I managed to get them on. LHS took longer to fit as I'm right handed and also have nerve related issues.

So more info required if you don't mind. So how did you actually connect up the quarter turn connector.
Is there also not a waterproof overall cover of the headlight at the rear of the housing
If you have any more info would be great :)

The quarter turn connector on the bulb?. Our bulbs don't have that does it?.

The rear cover fits perfect  :happy2:

Yes they do. This is for the dipped beam.

These are the ones I had looked at but couldn't figure out how to fit. Quite pricy not to fit
If you can have another look when you get the time . Ta

The H7 I fitted only fit one way without a reversible base and a lot cheaper than those  :surprised: the ones you've linked have two maybe three ears on them if that's what you're asking about?. They're wrong for our cars as both dip and main beam are H7 with one way of fitting.
