Back again after a recent change of job I had to find something reliable, and fun on a strict budget. I've had 2 MK5 GTIs before, so where else was there to go?
I managed to pick up a bargain I think, 70k verified mileage, full VW history, every reciept for every service and recall etc. Full leather, DSG, parking, electric lumbar, cruise, multi changer. Would have been nice to get xenons, 18" Monzas, but very difficult with the budget I had.
Is there anything I should be looking out for? I know the original DV's on the early cars were problematic, and I actually had one go wrong, also coil packs.
Car seems to be running rest, DSG pulls well, and drove around 600miles since picking it up.
Looking to get some nice R32/ED30 rear lights, renew some of the interior trim, and maybe an RNS310 due to it already having Bluetooth and nav.
