So being pretty strapped after Christmas and the Gti needing an MOT and service this month i thought id try servicingstop.co.uk cuz they have a 50% off january sale at the moment.
I saw some pretty horrific reviews but 90% of them are really good...
Anyway, i booked in for an MOT and full service yesterday priced at £112.38 (Half Price) and someone from a garage in wellington (20miles away) came to pick my car up at 9am this morning and by 11:30 i had a phone call telling me the mot has passed and the service is complete, but there is no confirmation in my service book about the the timing belt being changed so they suggest its done (receipts in my car document wallet at home) so i told them not to worry. they also told me my brakes need a flush and fluid for £52.50 which i kindly declined and thought i will get that cheaper elsewhere.
iv'e now paid and i'm awaiting the arrival of my car to see whats actually been done.
Ill report back later, but if your cars in good nick and the garage cant sting you with any unexpected necessaries then this seems at least a very cheap MOT at the moment... £19!
