As a guide ring TPS on the Tyne Tunnel trading estate for the parts cost (OEM) as they have various promotions running - Labour rate varies so much so that will need a few calls I'm afraid.

My main dealer wanted £380 for front discs and pads fitted.

I bought the pads from the dealer at £70 and the discs from GSF for £80 and did them myself.

As mentioned above the price is dependant on labour rates but I'd say £150 for parts is reasonable (I always go for OEM parts rather than the cheapy cheap discs and pads).

I would use Pagid discs and pads, a good brand and much cheaper than main dealer prices (which are ATE parts if you must know). Also, keep an eye on Euro Car Parts and GSF Car Parts, the often run promotions regarding service parts so you can get anything from 10-50% extra off if you're patient!

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

My main dealer wanted £219 for both parts (not the economy parts) and fitted they wanted total price £249. £30 labour not bad.
But with the part numbers to hand I got on the bay and got both bit for £130.

I've just picked up Brembo discs and pads for a touch over £100 from euro car parts.
Discounts range from 5-10% depending on what you can find at the time.
Just got to arrange for my son to fit them now  :signLOL:

Just caught your post,

Can't recommend GreatNorthTyres enough! Just over Tyne bridge on the Gateshead side. Been going there for best part of 15yrs with all sorts of motors for all sorts of work modified and standard , more recently they fitted my TTRS bbk kit & ecs subframe bolts at £80 labour, £60 for a service ,I think my mpss where £430 fitted .

Friendly service, never had a problem . Plenty car mags to read while you wait
