Locking Chirp & windows fold in with Key
« on: January 08, 2016, 12:52:50 pm »
Hi,

I've recently got my hands on a mk5 GTI, and I want to know how I go about adding the lock unlock chirp and how I can fold the mirrors in with the key. It has folding mirrors already.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's a VCDS coding feature. Mine came from factory already coded to open and close. You just press and hold the lock/unlock button of the key fob.

I only needed to code the chirp when locking. I didn't find the chirp useful when unlocking.

I have played about with it several times, but it only seems to chirp on unlocking even with the box ticked for locking

Not many people on the forum from our area. Only met one guy with an edition 30.

Let me know if you need any retrofits done.
