« on: February 12, 2016, 08:07:40 am »

Hi there I have recently bought a edition 30 and looking to lower it on coilovers can anyone give me any links on what to buy? And also does it affect handling etc or improve it? It's not a track car mainly just a weekend car thanks!

Loads and loads of info on the site reference suspension setups

Have a look here

Looks the same as mine  :happy2:

Spend at least £450+ on a decent brand as cheaper coilovers (around £200) will leave you bouncing all over the place as I found out with my old golf.

I've just had the Bilstein B14 setup installed on my GTI and couldn't recommend them enough! The B14's are worth what you pay all day long over other cheaper solutions.

Great street comfort unless you purposely aim for pot holes which I very much doubt... I hope...

Know this car. It's a belter. Minted.

I would recommend KW or witec at sensible money.
Big money= H&Rs are the best you can buy
