Erisin head unit
« on: January 13, 2016, 11:33:47 pm »
I know these have been covered to death. Has anyone bought one recently am looking on eBay at the 7698 version only £170 obo. I am trying to understand the listing.

Does it require an iPod cable or do you use the apple cable? And does it have the anthenna cable. Not pictured.

Finally what's the Sat nav like.

Or any alternative suggestions. Must have bt, sat nav and full iPod control from hu.

You get an ipod connection with the unit and also an antenna connection with it. The sat nav is fine too. I haven't had any problems with mine so far you also get a USB connection and reverse camera connection too

Cool. I just asked and they said no iPod cable. Do I just plug in my iPod cable into the head units USB port or something.

From the research I did on these it seems the better ones are android, 4.2.2 & above, I ordered a kitkat 4.4.4 but sadly it was lost in the post. There a bit more money than the Windows OS ones.

The 2698 is the android 4.4.4 version but is more expensive.

Found one on eBay but the 4.4.4 doesn't seem to have iPod control?

Well I think the eBay listings are all the same people under different names. I have put offers in of £155 and all rejected and now I am unable to bid, make offer or even purchase the items, from the seller, even from sellers I haven't put bids.

I offered £160 last night on a 9015v from erisintech, it was £220, got back a counter of £212! For that money I think I'll put the extra in for a new pioneer Da-120, at least that will be a quality sound, I'm not convinced buy the sound quality of these units, don't get me wrong, they have fantastic features, but at the end of the day we want decent sound yea?
Unless someone with one can correct me?

Got the 7698 for £155 from an auction. I don't know why they just don't accept my offers or counteroffer at £155.  Anyway apparently they are now out of UK stock and should have some soon in 3-5 days. If it's that bad I will either sell it on or return it.
