Hello all! new to the forum  :P
Picked up a cheeky tornado red mk5 gti a couple of weeks ago!
2 of my friends have previously owned the car and i've been after one for a while.

So much has been done to the car, its currently running 355 WHP but was previously higher (using WMI)
I am in love with this car! not only does it throw you back in your seat and put a huge smile on your face in a straight line, it actually goes round corners like its on rails! never had any car that handles and goes like this one does! :D

full ED30 interior :driver:
R32 rear end with turbo back miltek exhaust
audi S3 2011 brakes
running a 2tfsi out of a TT-S/S3 (CDL engine)
lowered on coilys (KW i think)
Audi 18inch alloys (not my favourite but will be alright in winter)
Tuned by Niki @ R-tech

will try and get full spec and pictures posted soon! (when i work out how to post pictures )

Welcome.

Use Photobucket to upload pics - it took me ages to figure it out too.

Your car sounds amazing. I wanna drive down to Birmingham just to check it out. I thought mine was quick at 273bhp! Can't imagine what yours is gonna be like.

Post pics up - would love to see what it looks like.

Finally cracked the pictures i think!

this is as it sits now, not so keen on the alloys but will be after a nice set for summer!!
Little engine bay shot needs a good clean and some colour coded hoses i think
Front shot, want some Hid's  but need to clean the lenses up first as they are slightly fogged!
these next couple of photos are old ones from previous shows my friend went to before I owned the car!

I do have so many plans for this car, now i'm back at work after a long christmas break time is going to be pretty tight!

My main focus is to give the engine/gearbox a good service myself (even though it was done before i brought it)  :scared: does this make me sad? I just like to know everything has been done properly!

The first big project with the car is making some skid pans! my works car park has very bad speed bumps ( the one way type that flick up and drag along the underside of most cars let alone a lowered one :fighting: )

It hasn't got much protection underneath so as I work as a mechanical fitter, seems rude not to fabricate some aluminium plates to prevent any damage to the underside!

Many more modifications to come, when I get 5 minutes i shall give a detailed write up regarding the engine and the power!
hope you guys like it, wicked forum and I hope to learn a lot about my new purchase  :jumpmove:

355 at the wheels?! Christ on a bike. Careful you don't bend a rod!

EDIT: You obviously won't with a CDL!!

Amazing power for a GTI! Does it sound good?!
it sounds like a diesel until about 2k and its actually not very loud at all considering it is decat with no silencers apart from the back box, i have been told if i remove the miltek back box and get a custom made y pipe i should see a big power gain due to the box being so restrictive at the moment!

and @ semka indeed it does suprise a few cars hehehe
