Anyone got one of these? I've got one one on order and would be interested in how you're getting on with it in terms of fun and mpg.

Just to follow up on our Facebook convo fella. . . . I'm only getting around 53mpg from my loaned 1.6TDI GT so I'd expect high 40's - early 50s out of the 1.4TSI as an average.

Best I can manage is 65mpg driving like a nun

Thanks Graeme,

I drive like a nun on business to be honest. There's so many cameras around and my livelihood depends on it! I'll take it somewhere I know is safe on the weekend to make use of the terrific handling. :driver:

It was all "B" and trunk roads on an over country route though wales with lots of blind bends, twistiness and trucks - so no chances taken.

I can't get anywhere near those figures in my GTD, 50mpg average usually!

I've driven the 1.4 TSI and thought it seemed good, very smooth and responsive. But can't comment on the mpg
