Multiquote

--- Quote from: Hedge on January 04, 2010, 09:02:33 pm ---The old vbulletin software that Briskoda used had a quote button, next to it was a multiquote button, so you just clicked all the quotes you wanted to multiquote and on the final one clicked quote and all your quotes appeared in a new reply box. Bingo.
Sound about right VC?
--- End quote ---
about right, but hitting reply as per normal rather than hitting quote as the final action
thought process is the same though :happy2:

I mentioned something like this before but had to be content with the current system. The best use of multiquote I have seen is as VC says.
You scroll through a thread, reading posts as you normally do. As you're reading, if you see something you wantto reply to, hit 'quote' and carry on reading. After hitting 'quote' for the last text you wish to quote, hit 'add reply' and all of the selected posts are quoted. Very useful in multipaged threads and a lot easier than having to copy and paste individual quote replies.
