Cars battery not keeping charge for more then 24hours
« on: January 21, 2016, 07:58:16 am »
Hi there, i have a golf mk5 and it keeps draining the bsttery so if i live the car for 24 hours the next day wont start. I have replaced the battery thinking its an old battery on the car but still tha same, i also took the headunit off thinking its the headunit still the car battery was drained.
Do you guys have any idea what is wrong with my car, i just heard the alarm going off at 7:00in the morning and its very cold outsite at this time i dont think it has to do anything with the cold itself but not sure the actual fault.
Im pretty sure there is someone here who can help kind regard

Hi, this could be a common case of your alarm siren batteries leaking in the siren causing a short on the circuit board.

Have a quick read and I'm not saying repair this as they're cheap enough on ebay to purchase :)
