Boot pop mod strut issue?
« on: January 21, 2016, 11:56:38 am »
Hi, apologies if this has been brought up before but I couldn't find anything about it!
I recently purchased the parts I thought were for the boot pop mod but the struts were too long! Has anyone ever had this issue before? I'm not sure if they are the 6Y0 827 550 C skoda Davis struts as I bought them online from a member on here.

Any help greatly appreciated. I may just have to buy the correct ones but who knows.
Cheers

Hi I fitted this last week no issues apart from when it's really cold, I ordered mine from local skoda dealer they were only £18 each. Do they not have the part numbers printed on them?

Make sure the bump stops are fastened in place nice and tight All that hatch slamming is puts pressure on them  :happy2:  Thought my pop wasn't working properly till I discovered one b/s was sticking out 5/10mm further than the other. :happy2:
