So after my 11 bmw that i owned and now sold.i made a wild jump into the vw world, to be precise the mk5 golf gt tdi 140 2005. Got it cheap. Real cheap its got some rust its got some scruffy looking buttons. There is an oil leak which uses quite a bit of oil. Will have to adress that asap.i can hear the bearings in the front whining like crazy. And im sure theres more wrong somewhere burried. Yet i felt like i felt the first time i got my bmw.. Simple and honest the car felt. I liked that. So this is my charriot now... And im all ears of what you guys went through or are going through.. Im here to shut up and learn .. So teach me  :drinking:3

The early gttdi suffered from porous heads and crap turbos but now the cars are 11 years old I would of been sorted out

Watch out for turbo failures around 80k. Other than that i had a 54 plate gt tdi and the car was faultless. I you want abit more go an ecu remap totally transforms the car.
