HELP NEEDED
Fitted my power fold mirrors with puddle lights to my golf mk5 today and just needs coding i do have my own VCDS but i am useless with coding.
Anyone local that can help me i am located near UXBRIDGE??
Or can walk me through it on the phone would really appreciate it guys

Does the helper window not come up?   It should help you with what numbers to add in the code according to the equipment you have

To be honest i don't get any of it i can do the bit with long code helper quiet easy 

anything else absolutely clueless any chance giving me a hand ??

Yeah replaced it 

Managed to figure it out myself someone could of just said to add the numbers together had to dig around for hours till i came across a thread on a US forum

Any chance with some help i managed to figure out the coding part i so like to think 

Fitted power folding mirrors with puddle light and dim drivers mirror

Coded the puddle light works perfect
Coded power folding and comes up with what i remember Code 31 Error i think ??? what does that mean ???
Also the Dim part does that have to be coded or will that work automatically ???

Also reverse dip mirror my one has 7 pin connector does that mean it will never work as its not fitted with it??

+2 - Puddle Light Active
+4 - Mirror Turn Signals
+16 - Automatic Run Active
+32 - Mirror Heater Active
+64 - Door Exit/Warning Light Installed
+128 - 5 Door Chassis
+256 - Seat Memory Installed
+512 - Right Hand Steering
+4096 - Folding Mirrors installed

I ended up with the following codings as I have puddle, door exit and folding mirrors.

Driver - 4854
Passenger - 5110
