Quantum Screenwash At TPS

Not sure if this is on offer but I thought I'd point members to a good saving anyway.

Quantum Premium Screenwash for fan jet washer systems - 5 litre bottle.
It's £4.70 at TPS.

It is concentrated, with a recommended mix of 1:25 in summer. Safely last a year I'd say.

I used to use the VW stuff at £5 a litre! This stuff is made by VW UK and is designed for the VW fan jet system, so it won't block up the washer jets.

My local TPS won't sell to me need ID of a motor trade name... Any tips in getting round this? :-((

Some TPS stores are like that. Have you got another TPS nearby?

Just go in there and tell them you're there on behalf of a local garage and you want to pick something up as a cash order

Why do they have to be so particular? Leeds TPS didn't sell to the public a few years ago, and now it's not a problem.

The whole TPS system doesn't make much sense, often they (VW UK) are undercutting VW dealers, who pay them for the franchise name.

Because officially TPS do not sell to the public. Some are more relaxed about it than others. Most of the employees at my local really don't care and have no issue who they sell to as it all goes down as 'Trade cash sales', but there are 1 or 2 that enforce it, and when it's them at the desk, I don't even let them try to refuse serving me....
