Centre Console alternatives
« on: January 31, 2016, 05:00:25 pm »
I have a 6 CD changer underneath my armrest which isn't even connected as I don't have an OEM stereo.

I've seen a few iPod docks on eBay but wondered if there were any empty compartments available and if anyone had any part numbers?

What do you have in this slot?

You could replace it with an MDI in the armrest, Eddie NL on here sells them or you can get them off eBay. If you want just a storage compartment I'm sure you can buy those and fit them Aswel after removing the cd changer.

You can get one that has a small cubby. I have that in my GT Sport with the Aux-in there. In the Ed. 30 I have the CD changer like the OP.

Also, a MDI only connects to a 3rd generation OEM headunit, so no good for a non-OEM stereo like the OP said he has.
