Holiday Insurance claim

Hey guys,

I been put through solicitors to help with my claim to Thomson however i just dont understand what this means

"The success fee is based on the following percentage increase

100% on a single stage success fee

Speak to the solicitor at Thomsons.

Following the implementation of LASPO Act (2013) success fees can no longer be recovered from the losing party, so the Claiamnt no longer gets a free lunch if your solicitor is acting for you under a "no win, no fee" agreement. Clearly, the success fee wont be 100% and the CFA should probably have been re-drafted.

Success fees in personal injury claims are capped at 25%, so now if your example your claim is worth £3000.00 you get £2250.00
