Anyone found scratch resistant key fob badges?
« on: January 29, 2016, 02:18:45 pm »
My replacement badges (missing when I bought the car) have gone from a nice VW symbol to a silver disc in about 3 months.

Has anyone found replacement ones that are more durable?

Steal some clear nail varnish off your missus or buy some.  Mines been on 6 months now after the first one turned to a silver disc like you said, and its still good  :happy2:

I bought a new key when I bought mine, it only came with one key, wasn't happy with that so went halves with the dealer to buy an extra, now that's mine! I keep that with me & have no other keys bashing it up, just a fob thing for trolleys mainly to keep me from losing it!

I bought a pack of the badges off eBay and they have some form of lacquer/coating on them.
