9" Rims, How ?

I have a set of 19x9 ET65 rims in my garage that when I fitted with my standard height suspension poke out a bit and was touching the arch liner when I put it on
But on this mk6 in this pic a set of 20x9 sit perfectly under the arch, how do people manage this
I had VWR springs on my old mk5 which gave some camber on the rear but that wore the tyres on the inside so I'm not keen on putting camber on 19s, is there a better way ?

The offset (ET) value on those 20"s is probably lower than yours (65) meaning they'd poke just as much, if not more but the arches on that black MK6 are almost definitely rolled.
All that does is flare the arch it allow for wider wheels/wheels with a lower and more aggressive offset.

I'm sure plenty of cars are adjusted down on the spot just for photos.
I wouldn't like to drive that mk6.

I run 17x9 et 40 all round doesn't run and sits nicely the backs have some negative camber and the fronts are just rolled and battered by other wheels

Are you sure that offset is correct?
on my 5 i ran 9.5j et34 i think it was and that was arch to lip with full camber which isn't a lot.
yours should tuck another 30mm compared to mine if your offset is right.

Wheel offset is 60 and I put on a 15mm spacer making 45, yeah
Is the track wider on a 4mo ?

As far as I'm aware, the only wider track to be found is the Mk2 Audi TT. To fit wider rears you'll need to roll and flare the rear arches. Fronts you can do the same, or fit wider front wings designed for the purpose of lower and wider tracks.
