to be honest i dont think money was an object for him, he just got carried away, not even on any forums and never showed it, only in VOLKSWAGON DRIVER AUG 2013, if it is what it says is it worth the money, agreed a price well less than the asking price, and got a reciept for refundable deposit if it dont check out.

Thanks for advice guys, spoke to the seller today to voice concerns about car, he's already contacted Matt at VWR, and he is going to source all invoices for work done by wednesday at latest, matt told him some had been sent by email, and i  have now had theese sent to me , over £17k so far with more to come, apparently he bought it brand after passing Doctors exams and never kept paperwork as he was only going to mod it lightly, then as things progressed he spoke to APR AND VWR, who used it as a bit of a  development  car, and he never got some of the data and invoices because they were done at cost, which are now being sorted by Matt .It did have a fsh with most done at stealers and vwr when work was done, he has also found a dyno when it was running 391 bhp which i will post on monday, more work has been done since apparently which is why its  running 480bhp and 460lb torque, he said it could be taken to vwr or any garage of choice to verify work claimed, and be put on a dyno, seems legit but you never know, if it is what he said is, is it worth the money as i paid well less than the asking price. Also it was featured in Volkswagon Driver mag aug 2013 where it was tested at the top gear track by some le mans driver doing 170mph hes also sending me this video, will order this back addition now and take a look, i'm still a little unsure but he seems legit.

Get him to book it into a roller and see the power for yourself if he's not bothered about the money  :happy2:
I still wouldn't pay that kind of money for a golf but if you wanting the power then get it all checked out and good luck.

That's starting to look a bit better. I'd say go for it.
If you agreed less than 12.5k for it then happy days. Buy it, enjoy it and don't be worried about resale.
Get the rest of the documents/invoices and bring it to a RR to get its current BHP/torque
I want a spin for all my advice though. lol

You cannot add all the labour and mod prices on top of the car price and come out with the price of the car. Doesn't work like that.

If it was like that, it would be awesome for everyone who modifies their cars. :signLOL:
