Need Ur Help..Video Of my car while smoking on deceleration..

Hi There,,
been trying to figure out my car problem before start to work on my engine..turbo is fine after being checked by 2 turbo guys..did a full pcv delete and didnt help..hope u can help me before i start to change valve stem seals as its the most possible cause as i have been told..

compression test is done and done all all ok..dry starting cyl1 153,150,150,148 wet 160,160,165,157

Compressions are a little low, but not horrendous.  Around 180-190psi on a new engine.

That does look like classic valve guide wear.  Loads of over-run, followed by smoke when back on the gas.  That isn't a lot of smoke though.  I bet a lot of GTIs do that on such long hills and people don't realise.

Thx for ur answer..my smoke issue started after fitting a catless dp and going stage 2 remap..seems oem dp was hiding smoke..why u said guides not seals?

There are both seals and guides on the valve stems.

Valve stem guides:



There are seals for both intake and exhaust valves. The exhaust valves get hotter and their seals differ from the intake seals to withstand the extra heat:
