GT/GTI steering wheel

I know it's probably been asked before but would an airbag from a GT steering wheel fit a GTI (flat bottom) wheel?

Three spoke wheels use the same airbags, though the colour shade may be marginally different.

Four spoke wheel airbags can have their covers swapped over as the guts are the same.

So I could take the airbag and cover from my 3 spoke GT and it should fit into a flat bottomed wheel?

Yes your complete airbag will transfer over as it is

They defo do fit
I changed my gt wheel for a gti one and used the same airbag
