Dougie's Red Mk6 GTi

Managed to get out for a good run in the car last week for the first time. Was surprised at how well it handled and how the tyres coped.
Anyway I replaced those with some uniroyal rainsport 3's a few days later so have some fresh rubber at last.

Here's some pics below. Went up to Aberfoyle and done the Dukes pass and came back through Callander. Was lucky and timed it well so never had much traffic which was a bonus.

Awesome looking MK6  :congrats:

Really love the Tornado Red and Wheel combo it is just right!

I am sure I have seen this car somewhere before on the GolfGTIforum?

Cheers

Hello fellow TSi engined member. The car looks lovely. make sure you get the timing chain tensioner changed as they have a habit of slipping and trashing your engine. This happened to mine.

Did you have to get a new engine?

I've looked in to it all. The cars under warranty still so haven't bothered. Haven't had any noises so far, touch wood.
