Another ED30 owner from Worcester
« on: January 22, 2016, 04:38:19 pm »
Hello all, I bought my ED30 #1109 last Spring after getting the urge for something a bit more lively than my Mk4 TDI. I bought the car from a nice lady (a grandmother) who had just taken delivery of a brand new R, so a genuine reason for sale. Since I've had it I've had the DV changed, the cam follower replaced (original was barely worn) new PS3's, front discs & pads, brake fluid change, full service & cambelt / waterpump changed.

Spec:-
DSG
Xenons
Sunroof
Cruise
MFSW
Highline clocks
Reversing sensors
MFD2 Sat Nav
Ipod dock
Winter pack
Lux pack 1

It's now developed a sticky rear caliper so more expense on the cards.

Other than this, it's a great car.

Welcome fellow West Midlander! Doesn't seem to be many of us on here :(

Car looks great, look forward to see what you do with it.

Is it bad I had to stifle a laugh when I saw the 'grandmother' you bought this from has just had a new Golf R !!
I pictured her as some 85 year old blasting around in a Golf R lol

She was quite a young granny  :driver:

I'm not planning to do anything with it, just keeping it stock, although I have replaced the roof aerial with a Mk6 Polo stubby one.

Thanks but I don't think I'll be doing any track days for the moment. You're most likely to see me crawling along trying to cross from St Johns to Whittington. Got to love the madness that is traffic in Worcester.
