wheel related boring question

will the wheel bolts off my 17 inch monzas be suitable to fasten some genuine scirocco interlargos alloys on or will i need some different ones?

Unless someone has done this swap before you'll not get a definitive answer.

The best thing to do is measure how far the bolts stick out through the inside of the monzas and then do the same with the interlagos alloys when they arrive. If they stick through by the same amount you are sorted, if not, measure how much less they stick through and buy bolts to cover the extra length needed :happy2:

make sure the wheels use the same seat type of bolts too most vw/audi use radius seat but some use taper seat !

ive been told that my bolts will be m14, but the rocco wheels use m16 bolts, so im not sure now how im gona get em to fit right? :sad1:

I will have a look at the scirocco wheel bolt part number for you and see if it has a spec, I believe they will be the same as the Mk5  :happy2:

2009 Scirocco and 2008 Mk5 Golf Wheel bolt are both M14 x 1.5 x 27 according to ETKA  :happy2:

mmm this sounds promising, my golf is a 55 plate, do you think they will be the same as the 2008 models?

The wheel bolts from my Ed30 are M14 x 1.5 and are 27 mm long.  (as steve posts above).  The seat is the question, the Golf uses a radius seated bolt. 

I think  recent OEM VW wheels all use radius seats.

All Golfs for 2005 use the same wheel bolts  :happy2:
